A delegation from MSD visited Al-HOl camp in south of al-Hasakeh in order to know about the humanitarian and service situation in the camp
The delegation included the joint presidency Amina Omar and Riad Derar, the two deputies of joint-presidency
, Majdoulin Hassan and Gabrielle Chamoun, the President of the Executive Body, Elham Ahmed, and a number of members of the Presidential Council of MSD
The delegation met with Rojhat Ali, the advisor to the camps in AlJazeera
region.They discussed the humanitarian situation in the camp and how to develop a mechanism to overcome the obstacles faced by the camp administration
Rojhat Ali said that there is a serious humanitarian crisis in Al-Hol camp, which has more than 73,000 displaced persons and immigrants, 30,000 Iraqis, 31,000 Syrians and 11,000 foreigners from European and Asian countries
Ali said that all countries participating with the International Coalition on the ground should come to the camp to see the humanitarian conditions of the camp residents
For her part, Mejdulin Hassan” called international organizations to abandon the bureaucracy and to focus seriously on the sufferings of the camp residents
It is worth mentioning that Al- Hol camp is one of the largest camps in northern and eastern Syria and nearly half of its residents are women and children
