A dialogue seminar on the Turkish aggressions and their impact on the political resolution in Aleppo

Today, the Syrian Democratic Council held a dialogue seminar entitled “Turkish aggressions and their impact on the crisis and the resolution in Syria” in the meeting room of the Syrian Democratic Council, in its center in Aleppo.

The seminar was attended by political parties, representatives of civil society organizations and feminist events in Al- Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo city.

The administrator of the Aleppo Center “Jihan Mohammed” spoke about the political situation in the region, the Turkish aggressions and the need to confront them.

“Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, the Turkish occupation state has been seeking to achieve its expansionist ambitions and implement the Ottoman project in order to prevent the formation of any basis for a Syrian national political resolution through occupations and their means of supporting armed factions and terrorists and using all means of violence, murder, displacement and demographic change through their drones and warplanes,” she said.

She added that Turkey’s quest to exploit the imbalance of international interests and the reality of the Syrian crisis is to end the democratic project, eliminate the will of the Syrian people, strengthen the murder and violence within society in repeated forms and ways under misleading and flimsy security justifications, prolong the crisis and deepen it.

“Mohammed” stressed the need for a real and democratic Syrian national entity that combines the visions and aspirations of Syrians objectively and nationally to consolidate the foundations of justice, equality and democracy for the inclusive national resolution for all Syrians.

The participants discussed the effective and concrete theses to deter the misleading ideas and actions of the Turkish regime, and to strengthen the Syrian national visions and principles of the democratic project by supporting the media to clarify the goals of the Ottoman project aimed at the Turkish regime through the application of the Milli charter, its political tools and practices in the region.

The attendees also touched upon the possibility of overcoming the obstacles and challenges facing the formation of the intra- Syrian dialogue by the support of national principles and political, economic and social considerations that are inclusive of all components of Syrian society, which are advocated by the Syrian Democratic Council.
