MSDA member of the General Secretariat of the National Arab Authority, Hikmat Habib, called on the Arab tribes and political parties not to be dragged into the plots and sedition that are intended to make Syria into a new course of conflicts.
He said that the events happened after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), based on their internal system, decided to dismiss the so-called Ahmed al-Khabil, because of the major violations and his exploitation of his position, based on the complaints submitted, especially by the sheikhs and elders of the clans in Deir ez-Zor.
Habib explained that many parties fabricated this event with the aim of tampering with the security and stability of the region, and exploiting the regional countries, especially Turkey, which ignited in parallel with these events fronts of fighting making factions that follow it to infiltrate in addition to the sleeper cells that follow ISIS, and as well as those who came from west of the Euphrates to this region with different figures and names calling themselves “Tribal Forces” to incite society and clans in Deir ez-Zor.
He believed that what Deir ez-Zor witnessed aimed at creating sedition. “The authority in Damascus and also some of the militias present have interests by turning this event into a civil war in the region”, Habib said.
“The SDF which includes all Syrian components and most of them from the Arab component and especially the Deir ez-Zor Military Council where the SDF played an important role in fighting terrorism and liberating many areas of Syria until the end of ISIS in al-Baghouz”, he added.
He emphasized Arabs’ continuity in standing as one rank alongside the SDF which offered thousands of martyrs for the sake of establishing security and stability and supporting the people of the region in managing their areas, and their continuity in proposing a national solution through the SDC, and supporting any initiative that would end the conflict in Syria.
Habib appealed to the Arab tribes and political parties as well as all components to eliminate sedition, end it and not be dragged into it, which is intended to make Syria into a new course of conflicts.
