Tribal leaders emphasize the need to intensify efforts and support the SDF

Leaders and notables of the Syrian tribes have emphasized the need to intensify efforts to support the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in their war against terrorism and all parties attempting to undermine the stability and security in the region.

That was stated during the speeches at the second National Unity Forum for Syrian Tribes and Components. The Forum was held under the slogan “National Dialogue, Security and Reconstruction are Essential for a Decentralized Unified Syria”.

The Arab tribes in the region, which extends within northeastern Syria, noted in their speech that they will not hesitate to support the SDF and will be as an impregnable bulwark against the attacks that the region faces. They emphasized that they will face the attacks by the Turkish occupation and parties that exploit strife, particularly in Deir ez-Zor region that was liberated from the most vicious terrorist group (ISIS).

They clarified that the project led by the DAANES and the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) is one of the most successful projects that aim to lead the region to a state of safety.

The tribal leaders and notables pointed out that other parties are always trying to sow the sectarian strife and have no significant projects to end the Syrian crisis. These parties have relations with external powers and work to implement their occupational plans, especially the Turkish plans.

The tribal leaders and notables also relied on the SDC for its crucial role played in coming up with the political solution, and considered that ending terrorism is the foundation of the political solution.

The Arab tribes called on the DAANES, the SDC, and the SDF to issue a general amnesty for all persons who were not involved in shedding the blood of Syrians in the region.
They urged service entities to intensify their efforts to secure all the essential life necessities for the people of the region. The people that have never hesitated to offer their most valuable assets in protecting the area.

The tribes affirmed the outcomes of this Forum as beneficial ones for all Syrians, and emphasized the cohesion among Syrians to come up with the intra-Syrian dialogue to build a new Syria.

It is noted that the Forum includes the participation of five thousand figures of Syrian tribes, notables of the Syrian society, members of civil society institutions and various community activists from different Syrian regions.
