SDC’s Women’s Office holds a coordinating meeting with Syrian Women Council

The Women’s Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) held a meeting with a delegation from the Syrian Women’s Council on Thursday. The meeting took place at the SDC’s office in the city of Raqqa. The purpose of the meeting was enhancing the role of women in the Syrian political landscape.
Also, the aim was to coordinate efforts made and unify perspectives between the two parties to address the challenges hindering women’s participation in political process.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the difficulties and obstacles faced by women in the political field. The participants in the meeting highlighted the vital role played by women’s organizations in enhancing women’s capabilities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of fostering cooperation and coordination between the Syrian Women’s Council and the SDC’s Women’s Office.

They agreed to establish a joint working mechanism aimed at enhancing women’s participation in political process and strengthening their role in decision-making.
