On August 31, and under the slogan \u201cTogether Towards Building a Decentralized Syria,\u201d the Syrian Democratic Council held a dialogue seminar for cultural elites and societal personalities in Sheikh Maqsoud in the city of Aleppo.
\nThe seminar was organized by Aleppo office of the Syrian Democratic Council, and was attended by Co-Chair, Amina Omar, in addition to dozens of cultural, academic and tribal figures, as well as dignitaries and notables of Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood.
\nThe seminar started with a welcome speech by Marae al-Shibli, the member of Presidential Council from Aleppo office, followed by a speech by Co-Chair, Amina Omar.
\nAt the beginning of her speech, Omar spoke about overall political developments in Syria and the region in general.
\n Omar discussed the latest developments in areas of Northern and Eastern Syria, namely the recent understandings between United States and Turkey, in coordination with SDF.
\nIn the same context, Omar, talked about the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Council to find a national consensus for powers of democratic opposition, and convening a comprehensive national conference to be the starting point to resolve the Syrian crisis to end the sufferings of its people.
\nOmar confirmed that SDC translated these efforts after its third conference by holding a series of dialogue sessions in Ain Issa and Kobani, through organizing a forum for Syrian tribes and dialogue workshops, which parts of them were held and others to be prepared in Western and Arab capitals.
\n 
\n  Afrin was not absent from the talk of the Co-Chair of SDC, where she stressed on the centrality of Afrin issue and the rest of occupied areas of Northern Syria by Turkish state.
\nOmar’s speech also included excerpts from procession of the Syrian Democratic Council and its national steadfasts in formulating its national project to build a decentralized democratic Syria.
\nFor their part, the attendees expressed for importance of presenting Syrian Democratic Council its national project and possibility of applying it to the whole Syrian territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
