In conjunction with the events of the International Women\u2019s Day on March 8, the Women\u2019s Association of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) in Aleppo city announced on Sunday a national strategy to make Syrian women ready to assume the leading role in society for the years of 2024-2025, with the aim of empowering them politically.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the slogan “Women are the Safety and Guarantee of New Syria,” the Women\u2019s Office of the SDC held a dialogue seminar in Aleppo. The seminar commenced with a speech by Jihan Khedro, Chairwoman of the Women\u2019s Office, where she announced a specialized strategy for women\u2019s political empowerment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Khedro extended congratulations to Syrian women and all women in the entire world on the occasion of International Women\u2019s Day. She also acknowledged the remarkable role played by Syrian women, who have been at the forefront despite arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance, violence, exploitation, and escalating suffering at all levels.<\/strong><\/p>\n
