The Women\u2019s Association of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) held on Tuesday its second meeting in Hasakah city this year. The purpose of this meeting was to evaluate the current political situation and discuss the stages of the national strategy for empowering the leading role of women.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Layla Qaraman, Co-chairwoman of the SDC, chaired the meeting with the participation of Janda Muhammad, Deputy of the SDC’s Co-chairs, and the Co-chairwomen of the SDC\u2019s offices. Representatives of the SDC from Washington, London, and Cairo also attended the meeting via Zoom.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the meeting, Qaraman assessed the political developments and changes affecting the world and the Middle East, specifically the Syria including Northeastern Region of Syria due to unstable conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n
