It reflects the richness of their ancient spiritual and cultural heritage, which stands as an integral part of Syria\u2019s historical and social fabric, and as a vital contributor to the country\u2019s diversity and pluralism.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As we share in the Yazidis\u2019 joy on this blessed occasion, we reaffirm that Syria\u2019s future can only be built on mutual recognition and respect. Safeguarding religious and cultural diversity, protecting freedom of belief, and ensuring the right to practice religious rituals without discrimination or exclusion are essential foundations for lasting peace. Diversity in Syria is a deeply rooted national value and a source of strength and social cohesion, not a cause for division.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>On this occasion, the SDC affirms its commitment to working toward a just social contract based on equal citizenship and the full guarantee of rights for all components of society.
