These developments are accompanied by indications that such practices could spread to other areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The SDC affirms that Syria has always been, and will remain, a country of diversity. Its historical and social richness is rooted in its religious, ethnic, and cultural plurality. Any attempt to impose a single identity or exclude any component fundamentally contradicts the nature of Syria. Such actions pose a direct threat to the country\u2019s unity, stability, and future.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In this context, the SDC emphasizes the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. The need for relevant authorities to fully assume their responsibilities in protecting all citizens without exception, and to ensure their safety and rights across all Syrian regions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. The rejection of all forms of violations or discrimination based on religion, sect, or ethnicity, and the necessity of halting such practices immediately and preventing their recurrence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. The importance of taking swift and effective measures to prevent the spread of these practices to other areas, in order to preserve civil peace and avoid escalating tensions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Ensuring a safe environment that allows all Syrians to practice their religious and cultural rites freely and with dignity, as this is an inherent right that must not be violated.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Protecting Syria\u2019s diversity is a shared responsibility. No party can achieve stability or security outside this inclusive framework. Upholding the values of coexistence and mutual respect also remains the only path to preserving a united Syria.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Moreover, the current phase requires unified efforts to establish a democratic national model that reflects the true nature of Syria as a country for all its people, and to prevent any exclusionary projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The SDC reiterates that diversity in Syria is not merely a reality, but a fundamental condition for its existence and continuity.
