The attack claimed the lives of a number of innocent civilians and left others injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This criminal act constitutes a direct attack on the safety and security of civilians. It also serves as a reminder that terrorism, in all its forms and regardless of its source, continues to pose a direct threat to Syria&#8217;s stability and to the future of its people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The SDC extends its deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack and wishes a full and speedy recovery to the injured. It also reaffirms that ensuring security and stability throughout Syria remains a national priority. Moreover, it stresses that combating terrorism and addressing its underlying networks and sources of support is a shared national responsibility. This requires the collective efforts of all Syrians and a clear rejection of violence and violent extremism in all their forms. Such efforts are essential to protect civilian lives and preserve the country&#8217;s unity and stability.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The SDC further emphasizes that, after years of war and suffering, the Syrian people deserve to live in security, freedom, and dignity.
