On July 12, the first day of the dialogue workshop organized by the Syrian Democratic Council, started in Vienna, the capital of the Republic of Austria, with an elite of Syrian Democratic Opposition including political personalities, parties and blocs.
\nThe workshop was initiated with a speech by the Vice Co-Presidency of SDC, Majdolin Hassan, where she welcomed the participants, then she presented the agenda of the workshop and dialogue sessions that will continue for two consecutive days.
\nThe sessions of the first day of the dialogue workshop were devoted to discussion of “Autonomous Administration – its positive and negative points .” The Co-President of the Syrian Democratic Council, Riyad Darrar, highlighted the national and political significance of Autonomous Administration project in light of huge amount of distortion which Autonomous Administration is exposed to, as a national project Represents will of Syrian components.
\nFor his part, Jihad Omar, the Co-President of Public Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, spoke about organizational structures of Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Council as a political expression of Autonomous Administration.
\nThe participants spoke about many issues and problems that result from experience of Autonomous Administration, the negatives that stand in the way of this experience, and possibility of working to rectify these errors within a national framework.
\n It is worth noting that this workshop is the second after France workshop in Paris. The workshop is also scheduled to discuss on its second day the road map to solve the Syrian crisis, in addition to a session about convening a comprehensive national conference of democratic opposition powers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
