Yesterday on 6/1/2019 The members of the Women Office and members of the Syrian Women Council met to discuss ways of developing organizational work and the latest political developments in Sheikh- Maksoud area in Aleppo.
The meeting addressed the latest political developments and the international and regional developments that are related to the Syrian crisis. Fatima Hamo,the member of the Presidential Council, talked about events in total and their repercussions on the Syrian-Syrian course.
During her talk, Hamo mentioned the Turkish role in prolonging the life of the Syrian crisis through its direct interference , the occupation of lands in north of Syria or through its relation with the opposition that depends on its agendas.
In the same context, Hamo touched upon the vision of the Syrian Democratic Council for the Syrian solution mechanism, which is the Syrian-Syrian dialogue without exclusion in order to reach a decentralized democratic Syria.
Hamo concluded by saying that women should take part in any meeting that would find a solution to the Syrian crisis, particularly international meetings, especially in the new constitution drafting committee which is led by the United Nations.
These meetings are part of a series of activities carried out by the Aleppo office to explain the latest political developments and the Council’s vision of a solution in Syria.
