Statement to the Public Opinion

The areas of the Self-Administration of North and East Syria have been exposed to barbaric attacks by the Turkish regime. These inhuman assaults have led to casualties from different ethnic components of the North and East of Syria. Some of them have lost their lives and dozens have been injured. These attacks also targeted many religious sites such as churches in cities like Qamishli, Ain-Issa, Ras-Ain and Tal-Abyad. Likewise these arbitrary shelling on peaceful cities led displacement of thousands of families from their homes. Last night they have been displaced to rural areas. Therefore, we in the Self-Administration of North and East Syria condemn this barbaric campaign that aims to occupy our region and change it’s demography. We also call on the International Community, UN Security Council, the Arab League and all human rights organizations and media to expose these criminal actions that are happening in the eyes in front of the whole world and take their ethnical and human responsibility to stop these attacks against civilians.
