A Delegation from Renaissance and Change Party Meets with the Syrian Democratic Council in Aleppo

This afternoon, a delegation from Renaissance and Change Party met with the Syrian Democratic Council at its headquarters in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, to discuss the political developments in Syria and the region.

The delegation was headed by the General Secretary of the Renaissance and Change Party , Mustafa Qalaji, where they were received by, Fahima Hammou, member of the Presidential Council and , Badran Hammou , the administrator in Public Relations office.

The two sides discussed the political developments in the Syrian file and the prospects for a political solution, especially the international efforts to end the Syrian crisis.

During the meeting, the General Secretary of the Renaissance and Change Party, Mustafa Qalaji, touched on the need to build consensus among the various Syrian political formations, noting that the stage needs cooperation and solidarity among various components of the Syrian people to overcome this crisis and achieving the hopes of the Syrian people.

For her part, Fehima Hammou, the member of the Presidential Council, spoke about the project of the Syrian Democratic Council to build a decentralized democratic Syria. She added that through Self-Administration model, many obstacles that hinder the process of democratic change could be overcome.

Hammou also talked about the role and importance of women in political life, especially at this historical stage in Syria, where women suffered from terrorism and tyranny and had the largest share of exclusion and marginalization.
