The Campaign of ( Civilization Call ) to Document Turkish Violations ends its work in Kobani

The “ Civilization Call ” campaign to document violations of the Turkish state in Afrin ended its work that lasted for a week in Kobani city by displaying photographs of Turkish violations in the field of human and cultural heritage.
After the Culture Committee and Antiquities Directorate in Afrin held the exhibition in Aleppo, al-Shahba, Tabqqa and Qamishlo, the campaign ended in north and east of Syria in Kobani city, where dozens of civil institutions and cultural personalities attended the activity as well as participation of the Syrian Democratic Council.
In her speech during the presentation of the exhibition, Asmahan Ahmed, the joint president of the Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in Afrin and one of the campaign organizers said that the main objective of the exhibition is to highlight part of the practices of the Turkish occupation and the factions loyal to it to what they did in Afrin like destruction, distortion of all cultures and obliterating the original identity of the region.
She added that the international organizations concerned and we, as a society, must be united and defend our principles, values, culture and antiquities that are an inheritance of all mankind.
For his part, the researcher and member of the Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in Afrin, Salah Sino, stressed on the importance of archaeological sites in enrichment of civilizations and the history of the city of Afrin, which dates back to more than a million years, according to the results of the archaeological survey of the Japanese mission in Syria, where more than 55 archaeological sites dating back to eras of prehistory.
Sino added, that Afrin area has more than 80 archaeological hills, and two of them had been excavated in Ein Dara and Jandaris
  Sino revealed that more than 60% of the temple in Tel Ein Dara, which dates back to Hittite period around 1330 BC, was destroyed by the Turkish air force on the second day of the Turkish campaign against Afrin.
The researcher Salah Sino, also noted that the violations of the Turkish state in field of distortion and destruction of archaeological sites in Afrin remind us of violations of ISIS and its targeting of archaeological sites in Palmyra, Raqqa and Mosul.
The exhibition ended with a documentary film showing the destruction of the ruins of Afrin under the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.
According to the campaigners of the “Call of Civilization” that despite the blackout of documentation of these violations, but what they have received so far from photos and videos documenting the destruction caused by the Turkish bombing and its theft of antiquities, is considered a crime against human heritage and falls within the crimes against humanity.
