Urgent Humanitarian Appeal

As the fierce and aggressive attack by the Turkish regime and its militias entered its ninth day, with the resilience of the dignity resistance in Sri Kaniyeh / Ras al-Ain and presence of many civilians trapped inside the city who did not accept to leave the city to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Turkish aggressor, the Turkish regime’s brutality increased. Turkish forces use all types of weapons from aerial bombardment, indiscriminate artillery shelling and use of weapons that are believed to be internationally prohibited.
Many civilians, children, women and elderly people who have been stranded, dozens of people have been killed and hundreds have been injured, as the shelling increased and the inability of humanitarian organizations such as the Kurdish Red Crescent and the Health Authority to evacuate them as a result of the systematic shelling of medical convoys by Turkish occupation aircraft, as it happened in the massacre committed by the aggression four days ago and killed 12 martyrs and more than 70 wounded.
We in Self-Administration for North and East of Syria call upon the international community, human rights organizations, the Arab League, the Russian Federation and the international coalition to intervene urgently to open a safe humanitarian corridor to evacuate the martyrs and wounded civilians trapped in the city of Ras al-Ain / Sri Kaniyeh to stop the aggression and to prevent massacres and genocide against civilians.
