MSDThe American Embassy in Damascus published, through her account on social media, a message in which it blesses Kurdish people and the people who celebrate Newroz.
The text of the letter states:
We wish for our Syrian Kurdish friends and all those who celebrate Newroz, health and prosperity. We know that this year’s celebrations have been canceled due to outbreak of Corona virus (COVID-19). Newroz is a symbol of light and victory over injustice and darkness.
