MSDThe Syrian Democratic Council met with the Lawyers’ Union of in Raqqa and a group of prominent lawyers in the city in order to achieve more cooperation and partnership with this union and at the level of northern and eastern Syria and Syria in general as one of the prominent civil society organizations.
The meeting brought together Hassan Muhammed Ali, the Chairman of the Relations bureau, Abd Al-Qader Al-Muahad, the Chairman of the Organization Bureau, and Ali Rahmon, a member of the council of the Syrian Democratic Council.
Meshleb Al-Turkan, the Chaiman of the Lawyers’ Union in Raqqa said that “they are the first alternate of the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Council”, adding by saying that “the Syrian worry is everyone’s worry and we are concerned with the resolution for the crisis that became a long-term crisis and we all seek for dialogue and communication”
While Ali Rahmon spoke about the important role of jurists and their influence in international forums. “Jurists have great tasks and the Syrian Democratic Council is trying to coordinate these tasks and activate them better, so all of us work to form an unite team, and everyone should work according his specialization and care about the fair rights of the issue and support it with the political resolution that guarantees the rights of Syrians” Ali Rahmon said.
Hassan Mohammed Ali also explained the political situation and discussed the most important political developments on the International and regional arenas and global changes, explaining the role played by the Syrian Democratic Council in maintaining peace and stability and achieving a balance among international powers, noting that the Syrian Democratic Council had an important role in the political process and efforts are continuing until a peaceful resolution for the Syrian crisis is achieved.
At the end of the meeting, proposals and coordination for other meetings were presented and the members of the Lawyers’ Union in Raqqa presented an honorary shield that they handed to Hassan Muhammed Ali for his fruitful efforts, good cooperation and faithful work.
