Today, on Thursday, the sheikhs and dignitaries of tribes and notables of Manbij stressed the importance of societal and political cohesion to consolidate the state of civil and social peace and extend security and stability in the region, during a meeting held by the Syrian Democratic Council at the meeting room of the Civil Council in Manbij.
The meeting was attended by Hassan Muhammad Ali, the Co-chair of the Relations Bureau of the Syrian Democratic Council, Mustafa Bali, the official of Relations regarding the Syrian Democratic Forces, Shervan Darweesh, the official spokesman for the Manbij Military Council, and Muhammad Ali Al-Abbo, the Co-chair of the Legislative Council in Manbij.
During the meeting, Muhammed Ali Al-Abbo spoke about the beginning of the formation of the clan historically, leading to the formation of the state by shedding light on the current reality. Al-Abbo considered the clans as the cornerstone and the safety, and indicated that when the clans adopt the national project, it will be cornerstone for the Syrian resolution through the spread of the single clan in the Syrian territories, and thus Syria and its people will reach to the final resolution that guarantees a free and decent life for all Syrians.
The sheikhs and dignitaries of the tribes and notables of Manbij discussed with the members of the Bureau ways to reach the required societal cohesion, as the organizers of the meeting explained its importance in the stability of the region and how to expand the Syrian national framework for the project led by the Syrian Democratic Council in cooperation with the clans and to formulate a tribal opinion that deters any external ambitions.
On the main theme of the meeting, Sheikh Dhiab Al-Kadro, a member of the Legislative Council, said that the societal cohesion in Manbij and all regions of northeastern Syria is a matter of a national satisfaction. Al-Kadro considered the international interference on the Syrian issue an obstacle regarding its resolution, although the Syrians have one concern and one cause.
For his part, Sheikh Sadiq Al-Asaidi, a Sheikh of Bani Saeed clan, noted that the clans breathed a sigh of relief after fifty years of repression, so today in light of the current project in the regions of northeastern Syria, and at the time which requires us to address the imbalances and mistakes in order to overcome the strife, and here the roles of clans, their sheikhs and their spreads are played.
Sheikh Hamdan Al-Awayid, a member of the Council of Notables, pointed out two main issues, namely justice and efficiency in light of the reality of Syria divided to several parties and the increasing the need to consolidate the inclusive Syrian national identity, as he described it.
In turn, Sheikh Bakkar Al-Bakkar, a member of the Future Syria Party, touched on important issues that need to be examined, including controlling the prices of hospitals and pharmacies, customs benefits, and the distribution of aid and the matter of detainees.
In conclusion, some points were answered and clarified by the Bureau, and proposals were taken into account for the development of work, and everyone should bear his responsibilities for the consolidation of societal and political cohesion.
