Elham Ahmed: Our project is a Historic Turning Point in the Way of Drawing New Syria

The President of the Executive Committee, Ilham Ahmed, considered that the project of the Syrian Democratic Council and Self-Administration is a historic turning point to resolve the Syrian crisis and drawing the future of Syria that will be decentralized democracy.
This came during a speech delivered by Ahmad at the Forum of the Euphrates Tribes, which was held this morning, on September 1, in the village of Zanhouza in the sub-district of Gree Spi / Tel Abyad under the slogan “No to the Turkish Threats to Northern and Eastern Syria, Yes for a Safe Syria.”
In her speech, Ahmed explained the false allegations of Turkey, which were saying to support the Syrian people and liberate them from tyranny and injustice, but they turned out that Turkey was never a supporter of liberation for peoples.
About the reasons for prolonging the Syrian crisis, Ahmed said:
“Syria has become a battleground among world powers and negative external interventions have deepened the Syrian crisis.”
“If the Syrian regime had taken serious steps to resolve the Syrian crisis, those external powers would not have been able to expand and deepen the crisis.”
The President of the Executive Committee concentrated on importance of national consensus for a democratic strategy that leads to resolving the Syrian crisis away from negative interferences by external powers.
About the courses of the political solution, Ahmed said:
“It is not possible to believe that those powers that were nominated, to draft the constitution are representatives of the Syrian people, because these powers are in conflict among themselves, forgetting the sufferings of the Syrian people, whether these powers are the regime or from“ opposition ”groups.
Ahmed, stated that their aim is to save the region, to return Afrin and end the Turkish occupation, which works toTurkishnize the region, commit massacres, forced displacement and ethnic cleansing against indigenous people of the region.

Ahmed concluded by saying:
“If no one atracks us, we will not attack him, and the whole world must know that our forces are for peace and protection of security and stability, and they do not threaten anyone.”
