As part of the ongoing efforts of the Syrian Democratic Council to bridge the gap and build a national consensus, the Syrian Democratic Council in German capital Berlin is organizing the third dialogue workshop with the participation of powers and personalities from the Syrian democratic opposition.
On Saturday, September 7, the first day of Berlin workshop, attended by powers and figures from the Syrian democratic opposition, was launched to discuss several axes based on unifying visions and building national consensus.
The first day of the workshop started with discussion of the first theme under the title” Self-Administration, its Positive and Negative Aspects “. Where Riad Darar gave a brief definition about Self-Administration structures and answered inquires and questions by the attendees
For his part, Ali Rahmoun, the member of the Public Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, highlighted the objective of SDC for organizing these dialogue workshops saying :
“The experience of Self-administration is a young one and we are here to exchange views and build a common vision that will be the basis for solving the Syrian crisis.
Participants from the Syrian Democratic opposition, in turn, expressed a number of theses concerning the details and form of Self-Administration and its usefulness to build a new Syria for all Syrians.
The workshop will discuss in its second axis ” The Roadmap to Solve the Crisis and the Mechanism of Democratic Transition” in addition to discussing, convening of a national conference for national democratic powers in preparation to solving the Syrian crisis.
