bhzad janWe followed the statements made by the gentlemen in Russian Foreign Ministry about matters related to dialogue and solution in Syria, especially regarding the role and position of Self-Administration for North and East Syria (SANES) and the speech of Mr. Sergei Lavrov at the second Paris Peace Forum on Tuesday, 12 November, which says that self-administration should be steadfast in its positions in order to participate in the political dialogue about Syria. Lavrov said that there is a retreat from negotiations with the Syrian regime after announcement of America to keep its forces in the region.
It is well known and clear that the self-administration has been and continues to emphasize that dialogue is a fundamental principle, and has begun to translate this principle in practice at all levels, and the Russian Federation is aware of all these details. This administration has handed over to Russia a solution map that reflects positions, persistence and determiniation of self-administration about the need for a solution and dialogue within the Syrian national framework.
We emphasize in Self-Adminstration for North and East Syria ( SANES) that there are efforts for political dialogue, but so far, such efforts has not shown anything practical at any levels to talk about hindering or obstructing it, and what is currently in place at the moment is only related to military aspect. The success of any dialogue process depends on two basic aspects. The first of which, is the seriousness of positions on one hand, in which SANES is ready in the absence of this aspect by Damascus for possible reasons and influences. The second aspect is the role and efforts of active and important powers in Syria, especially Russia.
We continue to believe in dialogue and are ready for any approach that serves Syria, its people and ensures a democratic future. We always look forward for practical steps from the other party.
We also affirm that this principle is steadfast and is not affected by positions and developments that occur on the ground. The presence and return of America is related to a set of factors and international calculations. This is never included in our pursuit and efforts towards dialogue, as this choice stems from our keenness, our national responsibilities and the decision of our people.
Such positions are needed to be supported and developed by operating countries that are keen on dialogue in Syria. We need at this stage, supporting the Syrian dialogue and consensus, so that this does not allow to drag things in Syria towards conflict, internal strife, development of partition projects, and the organized return of terrorism by Turkey and its mercenaries who are involved in Syrian bloodshed everyday, destruction of villages and property in order to implement projects that are in interest of only those who want to destroy Syria, killing and displacement of its people.
