The Japanese government provides an urgent financial grant to northern and eastern areas of Syria

The Japanese government announced through its embassy website in Damascus its decision to provide an urgent financial grant to the regions of northern and eastern areas of Syria as a result of the humanitarian crisis left by the Turkish aggression against the cities of Sri Kanyie / Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad.

According to the Japanese government statement, the financial grant will be in the form of humanitarian aid in the sections of / health – tents – shelter – winter blankets – hygiene. /
This will be, according to the statement, through United Nations organizations concerned with humanitarian affairs, provided that more than 500,000 will receive health and medical services.
The statement concluded that the Japanese government will communicate with the international community in order to solve the Syrian crisis by improving the humanitarian situation in Syria and achieving progress in the political process in accordance with international decisions.
The regions of northern and eastern Syria were exposed on October 9 to attacks by the Turkish army and its mercenaries, causing a humanitarian catastrophe that led to a massive displacement movement, in addition to field killings, the seizure of the property of the indigenous residents, and the settlement of mercenary families in the homes of the local people.
