The Self-Administration Announces Its Support For SDC Initiative About Releasing Of The Detainees

The Self-Administration of NE Syria announced its support for the initiative issued by the Syrian Democratic Council on current April 04, regarding releasing of the detainees, revealing the fate of the kidnapped and forcibly disappeared persons.
In its statement issued on Sunday, the Self-Administration expressed its open-mindedness to the initiative and its willingness to make all efforts for succeeding this initiative.
The Self-Administration said in its statement that this initiative is a subject of acceptance and appreciation, stressing that it will cooperate with those in charge to uncover the fate of the missing people in its areas, adding that this is one of the most important indications that confirm the human side for those who have the ability to cooperate with this action.
The statement appealed to all concerned Syrian parties to cooperate positively with SDC initiative and the Self-Administration, saying:
“We firmly affirm that all prisons of the Self-Administration are open to all who follow this file and these places have been visited more than once by several parties, notably Human Rights Watch, as well as the International Red Cross.”
The statement indicated that all those arrested by the Self-Administration are ISIS terrorists and those who have committed criminal acts, adding that there are dozens of documented reports in this field.

The Syrian Democratic Council called on all Syrian parties to release the detainees, considering this file above negotiative. On May 4, 2020, SDC announced the names of a committee of jurists, specialists and families of the detainees to follow up this file.
