The representative of SDC in Washington, Sinem Muhammad, spoke about the vision of the Syrian Democratic Council regarding the future of Syria and its perception of a comprehensive solution in the country.
Muhammad put forward the three ruling dominant paradigms of governance over the geography. Firstly, the authoritarian regime model that tries to control the rest of the Syrian lands without changing its policies. Secondly, Idlib model and the occupied areas by Turkish state and the violations that take place on a daily basis against Syrians in Turkish occupation areas and its mercenaries, more terribly in Afrin and Sri Kaniye/ Ras al-Ain.
The third model is the Self-Administration model, which is characterized by pluralism and participation of all components of the region in order to protect their regions from terrorism and extremism.
Mohammad also pointed out to the role played by women in all aspects of life.
