And towards more solidarity and cooperation in face of what threatens security and stability of the region.
The major transformations need responsible positions, a good reading of events, and a responsible vision that proceeds from an objective reading of reality aimed at charting the parameters of a constructive and promising future in building a single homeland.
Our reading of the Syrian situation since the mobility that started in 2011 was based on the fact that the solution is in the hands of the Syrians alone, that any external interference will complicate the crisis, that dialogue is the way to advance ideas, and that change is through promising and creative initiatives. When things got complicated, we rejected military solutions and armed confrontations among Syrians, we affirmed that the political solution is based on dialogue and negotiation, where we held several forums and launched several dialogues with Syrians from different walks of life and spectrums, we also met with the representatives of the authority in Damascus more than once in order to reach consensus that satisfies every one and fulfills the hopes of Syrian people in their uprising for freedom, dignity , return of rights and restores to the people of deprived regions in north and east Syria their existential consideration, their right to expression, representation, participation in administration and region’s wealth and blessings.
The people of the region assumed their responsibilities, they played their roles positively in order to preserve the unity of the region from factional competition, thanks to the People’s Protection Units, the Women Protection Units and the Syrian Democratic Forces later who liberated the region from ISIS.
The Self-Administration of North and East Syria played a leading role in implementing the system of democratic decentralization, and worked to secure a decent life for citizens despite the blockade and conspiracy of many parties from Turkey that threatens , occupied more Syrian lands and caused new tragedies of killing and displacement, thanks to silence, support, coordination with interventionist international powers and reliance of Syrian mercenaries on their orders and agendas.
Despite the sleeper cells from ISIS remains, from the cells of the regime, from weak souls who sell themselves to corruption.
The Syrian Democratic Council continued its role as a political cover for the SDF and the Self-Administration, directing, negotiating and calling for dialogue, working on convergence of people and its components through conferences and ongoing workshops that achieved more cohesion and the quest for more meetings, seminars and conferences are still ongoing.
In order to achieve more convergence and participation, the Syrian Democratic Council will hold dialogue seminars for representatives of people, their intellectuals, academic and heads and clan leaders in the regions of north and east Syria in order to enhance common life, brotherhood and unity of peoples, and to build democratic nation project, its knowledge and cultural role in order the region restore its pioneering role, as civilizations emerged from it one day.
