MSDToday, the follow-up committee that emerged from the “National Conference for the people of the Al-Jazeera and Euphrates” in which it holds its second periodic meeting and the first one for the year 2021 to discuss the committee’s work.
In addition to the thirteen members of the committee, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, “Mazloum Abdi”, the co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council “Amina Omar” and the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration, “Abd Hamid Al-Mahbash,” also attended as supervisors of the committee’s work and following up its tasks.
At the beginning of today’s session, the co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Amina Omar, said that today’s meeting will deal with reading and evaluating the reports of the specialized committees that emerged from their first meeting in late November.
An organizational bylaw will also be adopted for the committee to define its tasks and duties, and be a work plan for the committee during the next stage.
The follow-up committee supervises the implementation of the outcomes of the “National Conference for the people of Al-Jazeera and Euphrates”, which was held on November 25 under the auspices of the Syrian Democratic Council, after holding thirteen dialogue seminars throughout the regions of northern and eastern Syria.
