MSDWe warn against a targeting of the Syrian sovereignty and demand that the mercenaries’ crimes affiliated to the Turkish occupation regime must be exposed and held accountable for their actions in areas of northern Syria, especially in Afrin, Ras Al-Ain and Tal Abyad.
Most of the Syrians were glad for a political solution to their crisis after the issuance of UN Resolution 2254, in contrast to the moment when expectations diminished after about 30 meetings of the two series of meetings of Astana, Nur Sultan, Geneva and others, especially after the establishment of the Syrian constitutionality after the Syrian opposition’s negotiating body reached a dead end that cannot be progressed or relied upon. This situation is due to several reasons, the most important of which are the absence of the Syrian Democratic Council and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, along with other national democratic forces and parties, from the meetings of the political process, and at the same time because of the so-called coalition’s monopoly over the national decision in a clear implementation of the Turkish agenda, which in turn is based on the so-called the Milli Charter, or the so-called Blue Homeland, in order to retrieval of the darkest times in the history of the region from the time of the Ottoman Empire. The occupation regime of Ankara relied on the coalition in a miserable attempt to legitimize its occupations and the war crimes committed by the coalition factions against our Syrian people in Jarablus, Azaz, Al-Bab, Afrin, Tal Abyad, Ras Al-Ain and others as unsafe and unstable areas until today, in which a systematic policy of change is being practiced and the demographic is turned into an attached administrative reality, preparing for the occupation of these areas according to a series that corresponds to the Iskenderun District.
We are as members of the media office of the Syrian Democratic Council at the same time, we see that the approach of the international community to the project of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has been advancing recently, and this explains the official call by the French presidency to the SDC and the Autonomous Administration and the insistence of the meeting members on a political solution for the Syrian crisis in accordance with the UN Resolution 2254 and the need for the Autonomous Administration to participate as a realistic and safe model of governance appropriate for the people of Syria for determining their destiny and restoring their decision, as the Autonomous Administration, especially by most of the Syrian national democratic forces, parties and personalities, is now seen as an effective model for resolving the Syrian crisis that must be developed, improve its weaknesses and involve it within the Syrian dialogue table as one of the most important forms of restoring Syria and ending the reality of the occupation and the imposed division so we denounce and condemn media that so-called the coalition that cares the deep hatred, distort the truth that does not belong to the policy and does not appreciate positions and the guardianship of superpowers such as France. The position of the coalition agrees with only what is ordered by the Ankara regime, and it is not strange that this position coincides with the statements of the ruling regime, which shares some points with what was stated of the Syrian President’s recent speech about his description of the Autonomous Administration areas with political labels far from reality, knowing that they are contradictory positions with their precedent cases, and at the same time with the necessities of the stage and positive atmospheres calling for giving priority to the logic of negotiation dialogue between the Autonomous Administration and the authority in Damascus as a starting point towards a comprehensive political solution.
