The center of Democratic Syria in the Austrian capital, Vienna, organized a dialogue seminar entitled “The Revolution and future prospects” with the participation of a group of Democratic Opposition figures and representatives of political movements and parties and in the presence of the Co-chairman of the Syrian Democratic Council, Riyadh Darar, and the head of the Relations Bureau, Hassan Muhammed Ali.
The seminar discussed the prospects for the future and methods to meet the forces of the revolution and opposition to establish common consensus to confront the regime of tyranny, end the Syrian tragedy and achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people to live in a standard of dignity within a democratic, pluralistic and decentralized Syria.
The seminar members discussed creative and innovative solutions that would bring Syrians together, renew the spirit of the revolution and restore international support for it after the Syrian file was removed from the priority of the active countries.
In another context, the Co-chairman of the Syrian Democratic Council, Riyadh Darar, said in a statement to the media on the fourth anniversary of the occupation of Afrin by saying “that occupation, which is existing in Syrian territories now, violated all obligations under the international law as an occupier, and therefore the Turkish occupation army and its armed groups are taking actions against international laws.”
Darar affirmed the commitment of the SDC regarding the cause of liberation of Syrian occupied territories by Turkey and its affiliated factions.
“As for our position on the occupation of the cities of Afrin, Ras Al-Ain and Tel Abyad, there can be no meeting but there will be talk about it.” Darar said.
