The SDC and the United Syrian Communist Party Discuss the Syrian Resolution

The Syrian Democratic Council and the United Syrian Communist Party changed views on the Syrian political resolution, its necessities, the structure and form of the state in the future, in addition to files of common interest, at the council’s headquarters in the city of Al-Hasakah, northern Syria.

The party delegation included a member of the Political Bureau of the United Syrian Communist Party, the secretary of the Logical Committee in Al-Jazeera, Maloul Al-Hussein, and members of the Central Committee of the party, Muhammad Khalil Ramdan and Ragheb Haj, while they were received by members of the Executive Body of the Syrian Democratic Council, Hasan Muhammad Ali and Thabet Al-Jawhar, in addition to a member of the Relations Bureau, Azhar Ahmed, and the administrator of the Organization Bureau, Aziz Suleiman.

The meeting focused on the need for the joint Syrian action and support for national dialogues and expanding them to include broad spectrum and segments of the Syrian national powers to reach consensus that would lead to face the upcoming challenges.

During the discussions, the SDC members explained to the delegation of the Syrian Communist Party the true picture of the Council’s efforts, its project for the future Syria and its existing model in the regions of northeastern Syria, which is facing propaganda campaigns with the aim of distortion the picture of reality and highlighting a different stereotype from the real reality.

The two sides agreed on the need to work to protect the unity of Syria and its people, stressing the importance of continuing and expanding the meetings.

The United Syrian Communist Party is considered one of the parties of “the National Progressive Front” coalition.

After the meeting, Hasan Muhammad Ali, the Chairman of the Executive Body of the Syrian Democratic Council, stated that these meetings are held within the framework of the council’s openness to meet the Syrian powers and formations to discuss the challenges and risks facing the country, in order to reach a political resolution in accordance with international decisions.

Muhammad Ali pointed out to the unification of visions with the party regarding work on the Syrian framework and the need for national powers to agree on the general framework and discussion details in the future.

While a member of the Political Bureau of the United Syrian Communist Party, Secretary of the Logical Committee in Al-Jazeera, Maloul Al-Hussein, stated to the media that they were satisfied with the course of the meeting. “During the meeting, we noticed that the all declared their willingness to integrate and engage in an intra-Syrian national dialogue in order to resolve this suffering and reach a result” he said.

Al-Hussein expressed his optimism, stressing that by saying that “We will continue this dialogue and hold other dialogues, and we may seek to expand it with other powers to expedite a resolution for the suffering of the Syrian people, ending the Syrian crisis, and resolving outstanding problems.”
