A group of Kurdish politicians representing the political parties in the Euphrates region supported the national joint action paths proposed by the Syrian Democratic Council.
That came during a meeting prepared by the Relations Bureau of the Syrian Democratic Council, attended by representatives of various political parties from Sarrin and Kobani in the headquarters of the Future Syria Party in Kobani.
Kamel a-Hazbar, a member of the Relations Bureau of the Syrian Democratic Council, stressed the need for Syrians to agree on national constants to start the national joint action in light of the obstacles facing the resolution for the Syrian crisis.
al-Hazbar added that SDC’s adoption of these constants is as a result of its keenness to preserve the unity of the territory and people, and these constants are the unity of territory and destiny, the neutrality of the state, enhancing the national identity, and unifying the powers and political visions.
Khalil Abdi, a member of the SDC’s presidential council, called on the political parties, figures and powers to bear their responsibilities in presenting ideas, and determining the most appropriate paths in drawing Syria’s future according to the establishing time of these parties and the region.
Leaders of political parties raised several topics, where Farhan Haj Issa, a head of Future Syria Party branch in Euphrates region, touched on the importance of the comprehensive national identity in addition to focusing on recognizing sub-identities.
Kilo Issa, a member of Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, also pointed out that there are several segments in Kobani that need dialogue, including political, human rights, social and cultural segments.
Bakr Haj Issa, a representative of Democratic Union Party, analyzed the Syrian crisis and noted the need to move towards the Syrian interior despite of complexity of the scene where this calls for an agreement of national powers through dialogue.
It is noteworthy that the meeting witnessed interaction by members, heads and representatives of political parties in Euphrates region and motivated them to dialogue with different parties and form a committee to coordinate for a national forum that is established for understandings that contribute to taking an initiative and finding a resolution for the Syrian crisis.
