The SDC and “Syria First Party” Discuss Syrian National Issues

As part of the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Council to engage in dialogue with all powers and enhance understanding among the various parties in Syria, the head of the Relations Bureau and a member of the Executive Body of the Syrian Democratic Council, Hassan Mohammed Ali, met along with members of the Relations Bureau with the head of the Founding Body of the “Syria First Party”, Salman Shbeeb. The meeting took place at the SDC headquarters in Aleppo, to discuss Syrian national issues.

The two sides discussed differing perspectives on Syrian issues, the challenges facing the country, and the future of the country.
Hassan Mohammed Ali presented the council’s vision for achieving a comprehensive political resolution for societal development and achieving justice in order to build a democratic Syria.

He pointed out that chaos witnessed in the region is considered as an introduction to a reshaping the road map in line with the interests of international and regional powers of influence.
He considered the dialogue as an important and necessary matter within the context of the democratic process, emphasizing that the Syrian Democratic Council is always ready for dialogue and negotiation with various political and societal powers within Syria.

Salman Shbeeb, the head of the foundational body of the “Syria First party”, in turn, addressed the horrifying violations of human rights in Syria, along with all the crimes and massacres committed against Syrians, especially in the northern Syrian region occupied by Turkey and its policies of demographic change. “The Syrian nation is at a real risk, and it will not be saved without a political resolution”, he added.

He viewed the current stage as highly dangerous and complex, where the Syrian people have become tools for conflicts, projects, wars, and interests. Nowadays, they face a real existential challenge.

Salman Shabeeb expressed his support for the approach of the Syrian Democratic Council in resolving the Syrian crisis. He pointed out that hope lies in the Council’s continuation of its efforts for dialogue and enhancing understanding among the various parties in Syria. He believed that the openness presented by the Council to different political, social, and community entities in Syria in the process of dialogue could provide an opportunity to end the crisis and achieve peace and democracy in the country.

The head of the Founding Body of the “Syria First Party” described his impression of the meeting with the Syrian Democratic Council that it had positive and fruitful results. He pointed out that possibility of uniting visions of the Syrian Democratic Council and the Syria First Party, through dialogue, will reach genuine national agreements and understandings that align with the higher interests of Syrians in the future.

Through this openness, the Syrian Democratic Council seeks to enhance understanding and unity among the various Syrian parties and work towards finding a comprehensive and sustainable political resolution for the crisis.
