SDC’s Relations Office meets the People’s Party in Aleppo

The Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) held on Tuesday a meeting with the People’s Party in Aleppo city, northwestern Syria. The meeting took place at the Party’s headquarters in al-Furqan neighborhood. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen relations and discuss the Syrian issue and the political solution.

The SDC’s delegation included Fatima al-Husseino, an official of the SDC’s Relations Office in Aleppo, and Sevin Jamo, a member of the Relations Office.

Muhammad Sabah Younes, Secretary of the Aleppo branch and Central Committee member, Muhammad Naeim al-Haj Ahmad, a Central Committee member and head of the Organization Office, and Jamana Dabagh, a member of the Aleppo branch leadership, received the SDC’s delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Syria and various topics related to the political context.

Al-Husseino focused on the SDC’s project and its vision for a political solution in Syria. She emphasized that the SDC works to implement this vision practically through intra-Syrian dialogue, be more open to all Syrian parties, and commit to the national dialogue and the political solution of the Syrian crisis. Also, she underscored the tireless efforts to unite all Syrians.

Both parties affirmed the need for ongoing efforts to maintain Syria’s stability and unity, aiming to achieve a political solution that ends the country’s crisis through the national dialogue among Syrian parties. They expressed their keenness to activate the Syrian national dialogue among relevant parties. Also, they emphasized the need for collective efforts that support fruitful discussions and presents a new vision for Syria’s future.
