The Public Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) held on Monday a meeting with a delegation of the Conservative Party. The purpose was to discuss issues of common interests and the latest political developments on the Syrian scene, at the SDC’s office in the city of Qamishli.
The delegation included Manea Hamidi al-Daham, Secretary-General of the Party, and Suleiman al-Tureibil, Deputy of the Party’s Secretary-General.
Hassan Muhammad Ali, Co-chairman of the SDC’s Public Relations Office, and Hussein Azam, a member of the SDC’s Public Relations Office, received the delegation.
The two sides discussed the political issues and developments in Syria, the challenges facing the region, the crucial role of tribes in maintaining civil peace, and strengthening ways to enhance the internal front and national cohesion in Syria.
The meeting emphasized the importance of the Arab role, and discussed the possibility of enhancing relations with Arab countries to reach an effective strategic vision for resolving the Syrian crisis.
At the end of the meeting, both sides stressed the necessity of strengthening the relationships among them and the continuation of joint meetings.
