SDC’s Women’s Office meets with a delegation of tribal leaders from central Syria on the Occasion of Eid al-Adha

Jihan Khedro, Head of the Women’s Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), meets with a delegation of tribal leaders and dignitaries from central Syria on Sunday at the SDC’s office in Raqqa city. The meeting was on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha.

The visiting delegation included a number of prominent figures, including Sheikh Basha al-Basha, Leader of al-Mawali tribe, Sheikh Zayid Abu al-Tous, Leader of al-Turki tribe, Sheikh Radwan al-Shibli, Leader of al-Kharashin tribe, and Sheikh Mahnna al-Jadaan, Leader of al-Ammur tribe. Also, there were representatives of other tribes from regions in Homs and Hama.

The participants in the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening social cohesion among the various components of Syrian society. Additionally, they underscored the need to foster an inclusive national identity.

They also exchanged Eid greetings, expressing their hope that these blessed days will bring goodness and peace to the region and the world as a whole.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants called on Almighty God to accept the pilgrims’ prayers, expressing their hope that security and stability will prevail throughout Syria.
