On July 7, the Presidential Council of the Syrian Democratic Council with the majority of its members, held its monthly meeting in the town of Ein Issa to discuss a number of issues and ways of dealing with current challenges.
The monthly meeting of the Presidential Council which was devoted to discuss the latest political developments and the international openness towards Autonomous Administration, began by reading the political report and evaluating the current situation in Syria.
The Co-President of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), Amina Omar, provided an assessment of recent developments in Syria and the attitude of SDC about the political developments in the region.
The members of the Presidential Council discussed various issues, challenges facing the region and role of SDC in the next stage in light of international entitlements.
On the other hand, the participants discussed the recent workshop organized by SDC in France, which introduced the experience of Autonomous Administration and the mechanism of democratic transition through holding a comprehensive national conference.
The meeting appreciated the international openness towards regions of North and East Syria and successive visits of foreign delegations. The Presidential Council considered that these visits come after Western countries realized that the political solution can only be achieved with participation of the Syrian Democratic Council in the political process.
Members of the Presidential Council continued their meeting by discussing internal issues , organizational situation of the Council and mechanisms that fit interim developments.
The meeting concluded by reading a report about the overall work and decisions of Autonomous Administrarion by the Co- Chairman of the Executive Council, Abed Hamed Al-Mehbash.
Finally, the members of the Presidential Council also offered observations and suggestions that will promote developmental work in areas of Autonomous Administration.
