The statement was read by the administrator in the office of women, “Fawzia Abdel Hanan,” denounced the foreign interventions, led by the Turkish state, which is the best example of the bad neighbor, who is trying and is still tampering with the Syrian territory and occupy it through its mercenaries and terrorist gangs and practicing all forms of terrorism against its safe people.

In its statement, the Women’s Office also mentioned the role of the Turkish state in changing the features and composition of inhabitants in Syrian cities, stealing the monuments, destroying and distorting history.

The statement also said that the political events taking place in the region, trade-offs and international interests are not serving the Syrian people, but they are in the interest of the conspiring countries on our country, first and foremost the Turkish state and its President Erdogan who has am ambition to return the glories of the Ottoman Empire
The statement also condemned the international silence, the international community, international organizations claiming humanitarianism and human rights, and their suspicious silence on daily violations committed by the Turkish state in Afrin.

The statement pointed out that the aim of the Turkish state to occupy the Syrian territories is to strike the Syrian social fabric and the state of co-existence among the entities of the Syrian people in the north and east of Syria , because it considers it a threat to its interests and expansion ambitions in the region and to hit the gains made by Syria democratic forces in its war on terror and ISIS , and to hit the stability in the eastern Euphrates areas and self-management areas.

The statement called on everyone to stand united against Erdogan’s threats and his recent announcement of the start of a brutal military operation that contradicts international principles and laws.
“We, as women and all our entities , condemn these declarations and these heinous crimes on our soil and call on the international community and the United Nations to get out of this shameful silence. We are not lovers of destruction and wars, our motto is the brotherhood of peoples and living in freedom and dignity.”
