MSDThe Easter (Easter) comes this year in exceptional and difficult circumstances due to outbreak of Corona epidemic that swept the whole world, so we must adhere to health instructions and guidelines and cancel collective celebrations.
We in the Syrian Democratic Council, as we congratulate Christian communities in Syria and the world on the occasion of Resurrection of Jesus, peace be upon him, hoping that it will bring health and safety for all humanity.
We also reaffirm our assertion that there is no peace without tolerance and acceptance of the other and primacy of primary affiliation over sub-affiliations that are inevitable, to form a rich mosaic painting in colors expressing an inclusive homeland that does not differentiate among nationalities, denominations and doctrines.
We once again express our sincere congratulations and blessings to the Christians of Syria and the world, hoping that the upcoming occasions and events will come in better circumstances, and that our country, Syria, will overcome its ordeal towards achieving justice and equality in a decentralized and democratic system for all Syrians.
