In Deir ez-Zor, a dialogue seminar discusses the “Kurdish-Arab” relations

On Wednesday, April 27th, at the invitation of the Public Relations Committee of the Syrian Democratic Council, a group of politicians, intellectuals and people interested in public affairs from the people of Deir ez-Zor met to discuss Kurdish-Arab relations.
The seminar discussed Kurdish-Arab relations during current and future challenges and their role throughout history and at the present time in overcoming obstacles and establishing an advanced relationship.
On the objective of this seminar, a member of the “SDC” Relations Committee in Deir ez-Zor, Anas Al-Marfoua, said that their goal is to strengthen the community unity in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, which faced in the past and continues to face incitement campaigns and attempts to provoke a strife.

Participants in the seminar talked about the historical process of Kurdish-Arab relations in Syria and their role in building a modern Syria, up to their role in liberating the regions of northern and eastern Syria from ISIS terrorism.
The participants stressed that the region and its components have not lost the presence, work and joint interaction to build a free life and face common challenges despite all the circumstances, obstacles and great challenges throughout history.
The seminar members shed light on some of the Kurdish contributions to the Arab civilization including scientists and revolutionaries who played a prominent role in the liberation and independence of Syria.
