In Al-Shahbaa areas, in the countryside of Aleppo, social events called for the unity of positions to confront Turkish threats and ambitions in northern Syria, during a dialogue seminar that was organized by the Relations Bureau of the Syrian Democratic Council today in favin district of Al-Shahbaa province.
The slogan of the seminar was “By our unity and resistance, we will thwart the plans of the Turkish occupation”. The seminar began with a speech by a member of the Relations Bureau, Berivan Ali, in which she referred to the danger of the Turkish plan in the North of Syria by the continuous seizing of Syrian territory.
She pointed out that the areas occupied by Turkey are turning into hotbeds of terrorism and extremists, attracting the leaderships of terrorist groups and being a starting point for attacking the areas liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces.
Ali called on all the spectrum of the Syrian people and its components to unite, especially the clans and national figures to confront the attempts of Turkey and its mercenaries.
The participants, including clans and societal elites; called on the Syrians to adhere to the national identity and insist on the unity of Syria’s territory and people in the face of Turkish threats aimed at causing a gap in the Syrian fabric by the restructuring of the region demographically.
They called for the need for unity of the components in the face of Partition and hegemony projects, thwarting of Turkish plans and threats to the region to occupy more Syrian territories under the pretext of protecting its national security, exposing the policies of the Turkish state to public opinion, and strengthening the national cohesion.
In conclusion, the participants called on the international powers, the international community, the Arab countries, the Gulf Cooperation Council and the United Nations to address seriously the Turkish threats, assume their responsibilities and show serious positions to save the remaining hopes of Syrians to reach a peaceful resolution that will end their suffering.
