Syrians discuss the issue of the Syrian political resolution and its importance

Due to the prospects of the Syrian resolution not being fruitful, a large group of Syrians from various Syrian governorates discussed the issue of the Syrian political resolution, methods to reach it and its importance today, on Friday, September 16th, during the Consultative Forum held in the city of Al-Qamishli in the far northeast of Syria.

It was started by Ziyad Watfa, a representative of the Coordination Body of the movement for change, who believes that the National Democratic Opposition, which seeks to set an inclusive national democratic umbrella and form a vision for UN Resolution 2254, should be “a vision of negotiation and achieving what can be done including the hopes of the Syrians”.

Mohsen Ahmed, the leader of the path of peaceful change movement, explained the reasons for the Syrian dialogue by the desire of a range of political powers and movements in the current circumstances, the attempt to reach a minimum of international agreements and conditions, not allowing of external occupations to destroy the geopolitical components of Syria, in addition to the bad living situation.

The civil activist Jihan Al-Samman pointed out the need to accept the other people, and participate Syrians in the community, focus on the points of consensus, and not to consider the differences that often represent the desire of the opportunists of power.

For his part, Ziyad Rostom, a representative of the Yazidi Union of Syria, spoke about the success of the Autonomous Administration experience, which was able to contain all the components and its quest to be a model for the whole of Syria in accordance with UN resolutions.

While the journalist Diyaa Al-Tamr insisted that “the regime is a part of the problem and not a part of the resolution, and therefore all Syrians must go to a comprehensive conference without preconditions and consider all the intervening powers as an occupation.

For his part, Fares Othman, a representative of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria, described the political process in Geneva as a taxidermy and this needs real representatives of the Syrian people so that the Syrian crisis does not last other ten years.

Nidal Fendi, a communist engineer and a representative of the Social Democratic Party, also expressed that the agreement of the Syrian spectra can only be achieved by amending the Constitution through the Syrian dialogue, which is sponsored by the Syrian Democratic Council as an essential part of the conference of Democratic Powers and Figures.

In conclusion, Hikmat Al-Habib, a representative of the National Body, stressed that change does not necessarily happen by the base, but it can appear by the parties, and this necessitates the preparation of an integrated project and starting with it.
