MSDThe Relations Bureau of the Syrian Democratic Council held a dialogue seminar in Al-Shahbaa at Afrin Center on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the establishment of the Syrian Democratic Forces under the title “The Syrian Democratic Forces are a Guarantee of the National Cohesion and Democratic Change”, yesterday, on Wednesday, October 12th, at the Akhin Hall for Culture and Art in the Favin district of the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The seminar was attended by political parties and blocs in the Afrin region, Autonomous Administration institutions, notables of Afrin and Al-Shahbaa and independent figures from all segments of society.
The seminar was started with a welcoming speech by a member of the SDC Relations Bureau, Jamal Rasheed, who welcomed the attendees and praised the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces in defending all components in the northern and eastern regions of Syria and their role in uniting the components of the region in one rank against the Turkish occupation and extremists such as the “ISIS” organization and other terrorist groups that target the Syrian people with all components.
The seminar included an identification paper on the Syrian Democratic Forces as Syrian national forces that were formed from all the Syrian people, and they gained the confidence of all internal and external parties through their role in fighting terrorism and defending all Syrians by the consensual management of the peoples of the region and the recognition of the rights of all components as a resolution to reach a decentralized, democratic and pluralistic Syria.
In turn, the attendees unanimously agreed on the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces in protecting the regions of northern and eastern Syria with all its components and its ability to eliminate and thwart the plots that were being hatched and are still being hatched to divide the Syrian territories in favor of the Turkish occupation and to eliminate the democratic project.
They stressed their positive role in dialogues with all spectrums of the Syrian people to form a basic Syrian national base of all its people as these forces are the guarantee of the unity of the Syrian territories and their liberation from all occupations and that they will continue to support them by all methods.
The seminar was concluded with a speech by a member of the Presidential Council of the Syrian Democratic Council, Muhammed Ali Hassan, in which he expressed the heroic resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces in facing all challenges and reaching a decentralized, democratic and pluralistic Syria.
The honoring shield was handed to Afrin Center in Al-Shahbaa in Afrin region by the co-administration during art activities expressed the occasion.
