The Kurdish Left Party Warns Against Plotted Discord in Deir ez-Zor

The Kurdish Left Party in Syria said that what is happening in Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria, is not an Arab-Kurdish conflict as it was promoted by the powers that are hostile to the project of Autonomous Administration, the state of social harmony and solidarity of its components.

In an interview with the secretary of the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, Muhammed Musa, where he warned of being deceived into a discord plotted that targets the gains that the peoples and components of northeastern Syria have achieved during the past years, and which were by the people’s sacrifices of the region.

“What is happening is not a tribal uprising and not a conflict among the components of the region, but there are hostile powers that sow the sedition represented by the authority in Damascus, Iran and Turkey”, Musa said.

He also pointed to the great dangers that threaten the region calling on the components and segments of society to unite to face these dangers and preserve the gains that have been achieved and which ultimately serve these peoples and preserve civil peace.

The secretary of the Kurdish Left Party in Syria emphasized the importance of civil peace at this stage. “Let us be united for a structural change of the authoritarian dictatorial regime and move to a new stage”, he said.

Efforts to establish a democratic, pluralistic, decentralized Syria for all Syrians will not be achieved except by uniting and solidarity of the Syrian people, according to Musa.

“Let us work together to achieve what we aspire to and what our people with their different components seek”, he concluded his speech.
