MSDSyria is witnessing a significant wave of violence and an unprecedented escalation on the targeting of civilians. In this painful context, the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) strongly condemns the attack suffered by the Military College in Homs yesterday, on Thursday, carried out by drones, resulting in dozens of casualties including civilians and military personnel. Meanwhile, northeastern Syria was subjected to fierce hostile attacks on its people, infrastructure, and vital facilities by the terrorist state and Turkish occupation. At the same time, civilians in Idlib faced a brutal onslaught.
Such cowardly attacks and heinous acts represent inhuman actions and blatant war crimes against the Syrians, posing a threat to the stability and security of the region.
The SDC considers the Syrian regime responsible for the current situation in Syria and emphasizes the urgent need for all parties to take immediate action to find a sustainable political resolution that saves the country and halts the humanitarian tragedy endured by the Syrian people.
The Council expresses full solidarity with the families of the casualties, extends heartfelt condolences, wishes a speedy recovery for the injured, and reaffirms its commitment to the struggle for a democratic transition, peace, and justice in Syria.
