Syrians Demand Unified Action and Establishment of National Front

A group of Syrians from the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor called for a unified action and the establishment of a unified national front to confront conspiracies against the Syrian people and their cause.

These demands were voiced during a dialogue seminar organized by the Relations Committee of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) in Deir ez-Zor city, within the al-Sour district north of the city.

The attendees included several local dignitaries, intellectuals, administrators from various institutions, as well as some political figures and representatives from the families of martyrs.

Anas al-Marfua, a member of the Relations Committee of the SDC, explained the political situation and emphasized the necessity of uniting Syrians based on common principles that have bound them together since ancient times.

Al-Marfua highlighted the importance of the current phase, which requires unity and solidarity among the people, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), and military forces to preserve achievements and protect the democratic project in appreciation of the sacrifices made for it.

Al-Marfua also called on everyone to embrace responsibilities, move beyond the fear, displacement, and ignorance for achieving a better future for the Syrian people who possess capabilities for creativity, civilization, and the historical heritage.

The discussion also touched on the views of Moradi al-Shayti, an administrative feminist, who stressed the importance of serious work, the activation of accountability laws, and the fight against corruption to prevent the recurrence of past events in Deir ez-Zor.

Mrs. Reem al-Abdullah, from the families of martyrs, emphasized the importance of communication with the people, listening to their demands, and observing public opinions. Al-Abdullah expressed dissatisfaction with the events in Deir ez-Zor, affirming that the only best path for Syrians is the democratic approach and the generalization of this experience.

At the end of the discussion, the participants supported the political path of the SDC, urging strengthening communication with the Syrian people in Syria and assigning a greater role to parties and media in contributing to further unity and solidarity.
