bhzad janThe Lebanese newspaper of Al-Akhbar has published a false report about what it calls a document accusing the president of the Executive Committee of the Syrian Democratic Council of delegating Israeli parties to sell and dispose of Syrian oil. It is known that the Lebanese newspaper of Al-Akhbar plays political roles that are away from profession .This piece of news came at time when the Syrian Democratic Council emphasizes its national orientation more than ever before. On May 3, 2019 , the Council ( SDC) sponsored a meeting of Arab tribes in North and East of the Euphrates, as well as holding the Third Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Forum at the end of last March in the city of Kobany which is considered the most important steps that our Council has taken at the national level by opening doors throughout the Syrian homeland to bring together points of views and reach common national visions with various national democratic Syrian activities . Recently, our Council organized workshops of a high level of importance, including democratic opposition elite residing in Europe. On June 29, the first workshop was held in Paris, followed by a workshop in Vienna, capital of Austria on current July 12 , to discuss the democratic transition.
The Syrian Democratic Council denies all that is stated in this piece of news, confirms that the attempts to abuse our Council and provoke falsehoods will only lead to renewing the assurance to our Syrian people of its steadfast attitude towards the unity and sovereignty of the Syrian territories which exposed to wide violations during last years . Such violations can’t be solved except through political process that contributes in democratic solution which can only end the chaos and division .The Council affirms that it will remain keen to achieve it
s priorities of fighting terrorism, maintaining security and stability, defending and protecting the country’s capabilities.
