Ilham Ahmed: The Kurdish-Kurdish Understanding Does not Contradict with SDC Project, But It Complements The National Situation

Ilham Ahmed, the President of the Executive Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, confirmed that the paper of understanding signed by the Kurdish parties does not contradict with the national project represented by the Syrian Democratic Council and it identifies with the endeavors to unify the democratic opposition forces.
Ahmed told” Russia Today TV ” that what was agreed upon by Kurdish component itself; will be presented and capable of dialogue with all Syrians, considering it a natural case for reaching together a comprehensive solution to the Syrian crisis.
With regard to the political vision agreed upon by the Kurdish parties, Ahmed continued that the Syrian Democratic Council has a vision about the hoped-form for a future Syria, that is ; decentralization, adding that the framework of this vision will be determined by the Syrians and will be in harmony with the effective democratic forces.
The two Kurdish parties / National Unity Parties (Alliance of 25 Kurdish Parties) and the Kurdish National Council / had signed in Hasakeh city on June 16, 2020 a memorandum of understanding in preparation for a comprehensive agreement that had been called by the Commander in Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, and sponsored by the American envoy, the Ambassador William Robak.
