While the delegation of “Al-Ghweran and Al-Zohour” neighborhoods included more than thirty sheikhs and dignitaries from people of two neighborhoods. The meeting dealt with the conditions that the region went through in general, the city of Al-Hasakah, and “Al-Ghweran and Al-Zohour” neighborhoods in particular.
The Syrian Democratic Council praised the acclaimed and honorable role of people of the Arab tribes living in the neighborhoods of Al-Hasakah and their standing and cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Forces and the security forces that rushed to restore security and stability after the exceptional circumstances that the city experienced.
The two sides blessed the victory of the state of harmony and agreement among the components of the region, despite the mobilization and stirring up a strife and seditions by those who are prepared to end the Autonomous Administration project during the attempts of the global terrorist organization to liberate its leaders and members detained in the prisons of the Autonomous Administration in the regions of North and East of Syria.

For their part, the residents of “Al-Ghweran and Al-Zohour” neighborhoods called on the Global Coalition, the United Nations and the countries active regarding the Syrian file to cooperate and support the Syrian Democratic Forces and the region to secure security and stability, fortify the prisons holding the terrorist organization’s members, and work to submit these criminals to courts must be established specifically for this purpose.
The council members listened to the demands of neighborhoods residents, which focused on restoring life to the neighborhood, compensating the affected people, improving infrastructure, and moving prisons to more fortified places and outside of residential areas.

On January 20th, Al-Sina’a prison in Al-Hasakah was attacked by the cells of the terrorist organization “ISIS”, and as a result, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces intervened to control and restore security after the most violent attack since March in 2019 when the “SDF” and the Global Coalition inflicted defeat on the terrorist organization in its last stronghold in Deir ez-Zor.
