Afrin Post – Special
On Sunday, March 19th, the Turkish occupation forces expelled all the inhabitants of the village of Jumkeh in the former Kurdish autonomous region of Afrin in preparation for its destruction
According to the correspondent of “Afrin Post” in the center of the region, the Turkish occupation sent heavy vehicles to the village of Jumkeh which is located 2 km from the city center on Afrin road connecting its eastern countryside, in preparation for destruction of the whole village after expelling all its inhabitants
The correspondent added that the Turkish occupation forces did not allow the residents of the village to remove the furniture from their homes and drove them out of the village, stressing that the village consists of about 20 houses
The correspondent suggested that the hidden objective of the process is to search for treasures where the special teams of the occupation had visited the village in past, carrying modern equipment to search for monuments and treasures
It is worth mentioning that at the end of last year, the Turkish occupation destroyed 16 houses in the village of Qortqlaq following Shara / Sharan sub-district for the same reasons
